Solo Project
Timeframe: 12 Weeks
Tools Used: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
The objective was to celebrate work that unfolds over time— projects that span decades, evolve across generations, or endure beyond an artist's lifetime—while highlighting the design of the publication as much as the information inside of it.
AUDIENCE The audience for Obelisk Magazine is made up of curious, creative people who care about art that takes its time—projects that stretch across decades, get passed down through generations, or live on long after their makers. They might be artists, designers, students, or just deep thinkers who love seeing how history and imagination collide. While they appreciate good design and meaningful stories, they’re also drawn to the unexpected—surreal visuals, playful details, and ideas that challenge the way we think about time, process, and creativity.
