BRANDING, ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS

OVERVIEW Rose Redux turns surplus flowers from Skagit Valley farms—ones that would’ve gone to waste due to minor flaws or overstock—into one-of-a-kind, made-to-order bouquets. The Rose Redux Mombulance, an electric tuk-tuk styled like an ambulance, boosts brand awareness while providing a last-minute Mother’s Day gifting solution.

As an online-only retailer, Rose Redux needs to establish trust with customers who are ordering discounted flowers from an online-only brand and need to know that the product they order will be beautiful and high quality.
RESEARCH AND AUDIENCE Rose Redux is an affordable and greener alternative to typical floral delivery brands. People most likely to purchase from an online-only floral service that highlights the sustainability benefits of its product are middle and upper-class millennials, who are motivated equally by convenience and sustainability in their purchasing habits.
I researched the occasions around which people most commonly order flowers and found that 26% of all annual flower purchases in America happen around Mother’s Day. This is a perfect opportunity to introduce a brand and service that provides quick floral delivery while also allowing doing good for the planet.
The University Village Green stage is the ideal location for a Mother's Day pop-up. It's a gathering space for affluent families who care about their purchases and draws large crowds on weekends.

Solution
The Mombulance increases brand awareness by solving the problem for those who have waited until the last minute to pick up a gift for Mother’s Day. It’s an electric-powered tuk-tuk that looks like an ambulance. Florists construct bouquets from rescued flowers on the spot so that people can see the beautiful arrangements they can expect from the website.
